Quarld World patented carbon fiber heating element is an exciting, advanced technology that provides outstanding efficiency and tight band IR wavelength throughput.

The heating element is composed of long high tension proprietary grade carbon fiber strings as IR heating material.

Compared to normal heating materials like resistive elements or tungsten filaments, long carbon fiber has two distinct features that are superior to those heating systems in radiant applications:

• The carbon fiber heating element is extremely efficient as it transfers 98% of the electricity into heat by light particle conduction. As compared to much lower levels and variation of energy as low as 40 to 60 % efficiency on other heater types. Efficiency also means longer life of the heater element than traditional types.

 • Safe IR wave lengths are another feature in carbon fiber heaters from Imperial Quartz. The wave length is 8 – 14 μ m. This zone is defined by NASA as the “source of life” zone and the “light of life” zone by Japanese scientists. This wave length can be absorbed easily by the body with a penetration of 4 to 5 cm which promotes metabolism and direct warming. It also provides deep penetration in cooking applications as well. Using a protected sheath of quartz glass surrounding the heating element, the heating tube is explosion proof and is a safe and reliable product.
