| Kapton Heaters
Kapton Heating Elements are flexible heaters manufactured with a Kapton or polyimide exterior coverlay, providing thin sustrate that is dielectrically insualted and fast to heat up and cool down due to its low thermal mass.
Maximum temperatures of 250 C are possible with this construction and total thickness can range from .004" to as high as .015", providing higher dielectric levels, depending on the application and watt density. Low outgassing is a feature that Kapton heaters feature. Widely used in medical and space applications. Back
