| Tubular Heating Elements
Also know as Cal-rod elements, tubular elements have resistance wire surrounded by an insulation, usually Mgo, and enclosed in metal sheathing. Common sheathing or sleeve materials include, aluminum, copper, iron, stainless steel, and many metal alloys such as Incoloy. Tubular heating elements are available in man shapes. The largest tubular applications are for consumer ranges, commercial and consumer refrigerators, commercial and consumer HVAC, small domestic appliances, small commercial cooking appliances and commercial food service equipment.
