The CHE (Contact Heating Element) is the flagship heating system for contact heating using a modular design and fast safe heat delivery versus the traditional cast in heaters that waste energy as they tend to radiant within an aluminum cast in.

The CHE is a directly bonded thick film heater that is applied to a fired on dielectric enamel substrate.

CHE Installation

Installation is simple. Attach to the underside of the surface that you are heating using a screw/bolt lockdown and graphite to allow for the possible unevenness of the contact to the surface that requires the heat.

This assures for optimal heat transfer and even distribution of fast directional heat where you need it.

Here is an example of a 2kW application using IR imaging. Note how quickly and evenly the heat is dispersed over the cooking plate.

This distribution is unique as compared to a cast in tubular element where a concentrated round tubular element needs to radiant high local heat to provide enough to first warn the aluminum cast in assembly and then the surface plate.

As the mass of this assembly for the CHE consists of the element and graphite only, heating is quick with no wasted heat buildup inside. (Four 500w CHE Elements are mounted below. Temperature is in Celsius).
